Welcome to The UnderThread, my studio.....ehem apartment closet! Where here I find passion in creating fun and unique items! As for myself, I am a dog mother of two and a Wifey McSpicy to my wonderful husband for nearly eight years. I was born, and raised, in the North Texas country areas. Since I was small, my talent has always been in art. There was never a shortness of support, time , or availably for me to be creating something. When I attended college, my focus was on Fine Arts : painting and drawing, the subject of my Bachelors . However, post college, life quickly made creating the art I was accustomed to not so easy to do anymore. Job, bills, time, space and chores took some big life pie chunks. So I didn't create.

Only earlier this year ( 2025) did I decide to get a little kit on Amazon. Crochet a Dachshund. That little dog, was such a challenge to understand and learn the basic language of a new art form. I almost gave up many times, but I wanted that little dog. Sure enough, I made him. Through that I realized what a world I had just opened up. I can create and learn new techniques, color theories, and material manipulation. See how far I can press these new limits. The sleeping artists woke up, and starting making. Now, I find myself with the exceptional products of my experimentation but with limited storage space to keep them all. I welcome and thank you for coming to my shop to peruse what I have made. I assure you all products are made with handmade, artists quality and care. A good artists does not take shortcuts in their work, nor allow incomplete works to be called finished.
